Parent Info

Opening Day is this Saturday, April 18th at 12:30 PM. Please plan to arrive early, as parking will be limited due to ongoing construction. Do not park in handicap spaces or fire lanes.
Uniform distribution will begin on Tuesday, April 14th at 6:30 PM. If you registered after March 9th, your uniform may not be in yet. Due to current shortages, some players may still be missing pieces even if ordered on time. That is OK—your child can still fully participate. We appreciate your patience.
As our numbers continue to grow, next year’s first uniform order will be placed on February 15th to help avoid delays.
Field assignments for Opening Day events will depend on construction clearance from the town, which we expect to confirm by Friday.
Team rosters for Baseball divisions (Farm, Minors, and Majors) will be posted on Wednesday.
Schedule are posted on SportsYou. Look in FILES. All is subject to change.
Girls Minors Softball: There will be a home game on Wednesday, April 15th at 6:00 PM on Field #2.
Here are the SportsYou codes in all divisions

• TMLRCHWM – Girls JR/SR Softball
• RWVFUHTV – Girls Majors Softball
• 7ZU2H6FR – Girls Minors Softball
• 9HXWE8RB – Girls Farm Softball
• 22BYHP54 – SR/JR Baseball
• 3QXBATAY – Baseball Majors
• DRJ67Z33  - Baseball Minors
• M92XTHME – Baseball Farm
• AV9NNA7C – Tee Ball

Coaching can be a fun and rewarding experience, but please remember that you are coaching a team. Work together as a group and support one another. For first-time coaches, especially those coaching your own child, it can sometimes be challenging—but keep in mind that the focus is on the entire team.
We also need team parents/guardians to help monitor the dugouts, especially in the younger divisions. Players often try to pick up bats as soon as they enter the dugout, so supervision is important for everyone’s safety.
Please make sure to start and complete your volunteer check as soon as possible.

Volunteer Registration – Quick Guide

After speaking with Little League, here are the official steps to register as a volunteer. We know the process can feel a little tricky at first, but please hang in there—it’s worth it! One parent completed it right at the field on their phone in about 10 minutes, even after hitting a small snag.

Steps to Register:

• Go to the Central Islip Little League website and sign in
• This time, you are registering yourself as a volunteer (not your child)
• Click on My Roles & Certificates, then scroll down and select Register a Volunteer
• You will see “Looking to get involved?” – click View Divisions (Baseball or Softball—either is fine)
• Select General Volunteers, then click View Selected Opportunities
• Click General Volunteer
• When asked “What role?”, select yourself

  • If you do not see your name, click New User and enter your information

• Click Continue and complete the form:

  • Make sure all information is your own
  • Answer all questions
  • If any answers are “No,” just enter N/A in the description field
  • Review and accept all prompts
  • Upload your driver’s license

• Once everything is complete, you can submit your registration
