Hello Everyone, Great News- One of our own – Eladio E.J. Exposito – was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the Major League Baseball draft on 7/19/22. He was the 485th pick in the draft and the second player in the last 25 years to get drafted from Central Islip. Last one was NY Yankee pick Estee Harris in 1999.
E.J. Played baseball in the Central Islip Little League, Central Islip PAL Baseball, the Central Islip JV School District Baseball, St. John the Baptist and Long Island University.
We wish E.J. all the success in the world and if you go on vacation where he is playing ball let him know you are from the Central Islip Community and you are supporting.
